ðŸĨ‡The Competition and The Sword: Alruna and Agnek

Big Boss needs your help

By this point, you've earned the trust of all the villagers in town, except for one... Alruna, the chief herself, and she has some tasks for you to fulfil in order to win her trust.

Her request is you to join a competition against a rival village, where the one to kill more corrupteds will be the winner. Time to go back to the corrupted village and start purging some Corrupted Brutes. Don't forget to use your key to go back to the village instantly.

Once you defeat the brutes, you will gain the chief's trust and the town's key, used to unlock daily quests for extra money and rewards. Currently, you can pick up the quest of three NPCs:

  • Alma, the town's florist, found walking around the town.

  • Haln, a not-so-healthy farmer, found next to Alvis' house.

  • Toron, a fisherman found at the bottom of the valley in the middle of the town.

Now that you got the chief's trust, she'll ask you to become the village's champion, but to do so, she first wants you to be properly geared. She will then ask you to talk to Agnek, as he'll tell you the materials needed to craft you a brand new sword.

The first material needed is a netherite stick. You can craft it using 2 netherite ingots in a crafting table, as you can see here:

The next item is a sword mold. To craft this, you'll need Enderite, an exclusive ore found in the End Dimension. 9 pieces are needed to craft a mold, and a netherite sword and a mold to craft a sword mold. Once crafted, bring it to Agnek.

HINT: you can teleport to the End Dimension by using /pw Lootville, as it is an old player shop now turned into a quick end portal (Thanks Oroshiagito!). Still, make sure to bring Ender Pearls to traverse the End Dimension.

The last item required will be two pieces of Malachite Ingot. You can find this very durable ore in Durel (above 5k) in their stone and deepslate versions, but to mine them, you will need a Netherite pickaxe or better, so make sure you have one in your inventory. Give them to Agnek for him to create you a Well-crafted Malachite sword, which is way stronger than a regular netherite sword.
